La Herradura:

The town of La Herradura is only 2 miles away, small enough to be charmingly Spanish it is still large enough to offer an excellent range of restaurants, bars and facilities to make your stay an enjoyable one. Or from high above the hustle and bustle of this little town you can simply sit and watch the world go by from the tranquillity of your own private terrace.

With sunshine averaged at 320 days of the year, you can still sit on the beach in December, this makes the perfect summer or winter resort, with many local attractions while the historic town of Granada and the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada are only 1 hours drive away.

The Villa:

Los Altos is a luxury 3 bedroom 'duplex' villa with accommodation on two levels, furnished to the highest standard in a modern, classical style. Situated on a quiet cul de sac, the villa has its own brick, block drive with parking for 1 - 2 cars. The front door takes you into the main hall. From this doors lead off to the two twin bedrooms, both are furnished to give more than adequate storage with pine wardrobes, dressing tables, mirrors, bedsteads, bedside tables and both have beautiful sea views. One twin room has its own balcony with seating. There is also a family bathroom on this floor with bath, shower, bidet, toilet & sink. The staircase leads down to the main accommodation.

 
From the downstairs hall, doors lead off to the kitchen/breakfast room, the lounge/dining room, the guest toilet and the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The kitchen/breakfast room is fully equipped with modern fitted units, stainless steel electric oven and cooker hood, ceramic electric hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle. An extensive range of good quality cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils means that you will always be able to cater for your family or friends as well as you could in your own home and makes those days when you just want to stay in and relax more enjoyable.

The stylish lounge and dining room has been designed to be harmonious and relaxing whilst still equipped with a beautiful dining table that seats six for nights when you may want to stay in and have a formal dinner. The leather lounge suite is both elegant and comfortable so it's a great place to unwind after you have been out all day either sight seeing or sunbathing! The room is also equipped with a cd system, DVD player and SKY Freeview TV.

 

The master bedroom is very dreamy. Taupe voile curtains softly hang from ornate curtain rails. The bedstead is dressed with a beautfiul gothic headboard and cream bedspread. Delicate chandeliers hang from the ceiling whilst the warmth of real wooden, beautifully carved furniture gives this room a romantic feel. The ensuite has a shower, bath, bidet, toilet and sink. It is very modern and stylish, with oversized beige stone tiles, white furniture and chrome fittings.

All these rooms have double doors out onto the terrace and have gorgeous sea views.
The terrace has uninterrupted views of the bay, the forests and the surrounding mountains. This is a place to sit, relax and enjoy the amazing views. During the day you can look across the bay to the headland, stare at the gentle glistening waters or watch the little boats come in and out of the bay. Then in the evening as La Herradura comes to life, with its lights sparkling in the bay waters, you can just make out the gentle hum of a town awakening whilst you sit back enjoying the quietness of Los Altos, sipping a drink and feeling quite at peace. The most amazing surprise with Los Altos is that although you are in a small development you can often feel like you are quite alone, just you, the waters and the woods.
During the day you have unlimited use of the developments exclusive pool and paddle tennis courts. Like something from a five star hotel, the pool and toddler pool are large and beautifully shaped. Surrounded by thick green grass and flowering shrubs it has panoramic views of the bay, of the woodlands and of the mountains and is a fantastic place to laze about and sunbathe. Again because not all residents are in their villas at the same time you can usually find you have the pool to yourself and rarely have to share with more than a few people, even in high season!
